Mansewood Country House is in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, and is a stone’s throw from National Cycle Route 7 and the Rob Roy Way.
From the moment you open the doors to this former Manse, we invite you to enjoy everything this 300 year old house has to offer. Once settled in, find a sunny spot in the garden where you may catch sight of one of the many red squirrels or deer which often pass through.
We have a snug licensed for residents only, where you can find a beer or maybe a gin and tonic. We also have a selection of local malt whiskies and a small wine list.
After a restful night’s sleep in one of our five en-suite rooms, start your day with your choice of cereals, fruit and yogurt, followed by a hot option from our menu.
Popular activities include hiking Ben Vorlich, watersports on Loch Earn or you can try for a hole in one at one of the numerous golf courses nearby. For history buffs, visit Rob Roy’s grave or Stirling Castle. Closer to home there are a number of whisky distilleries or just dip your toes into the Falls of Dochart at Killin. At the end of the day, and on your return, we look forward to hearing your stories and all about your discoveries.
